Session F | Preventing Risk by Promoting Awareness

Bad things happen to good people. It is reasonable to believe that everyone in the room has either been in a situation or knows a team member who has been in a situation with a donor, campus partner or other powerful stakeholder that pushed the limits of personal boundaries. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone on your team knew they didn’t have to deal with this alone? We will explore steps you can take on your team or within your organization to shine a light on these situations and build awareness in a way that arms each team member with the tools and support to navigate to positive outcomes.

Speaker: Alvaro Luque, President and CEO, Avocados From Mexico

A for-profit CEO describes how you can leverage engagement opportunities and find value in non-revenue generating activities.

“If your main focus of having an advertisement during the Super Bowl is the amount of money you'll make off it, then it's probably not worth it. But if you view it as a campaign instead, using the opportunity is the most underrated media investment you could make.”

Alvaro will weave together the concepts we’ve explored throughout the conference, helping your entire development team understand its role, from enhancing stewardship to delivering high-value personal visits.

Stick around to hear what key takeaways the CEOs and senior leaders are taking away to help their organizations evolve.
